Allison Williams
Allison Howell Williams is an American actor and producer. Williams was born on April 13th, 1988. The media have called her"a horror queen" because of her role in horror movies. Her first fame was for her role as Marnie Michaels in the HBO comedy-drama show Girls (2012-2017) that earned her a Critics' Choice Award nomination. In 2017, she was nominated in both the MTV Movie Awards as well as the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Her role in Get Out, starring Rose Armitage made her an international star. Her subsequent roles included films based on horror, including The Perfection (2018 and M3GAN 2022) and M3GAN 2022, both of which she wrote. Williams was born and brought up in New Canaan, Connecticut, her parents were the former NBC Nightly News anchor and managing editor Brian Williams and TV producer Jane Gillan Stoddard. Also, she has her own brother. Williams attended Greenwich Academy and New Canaan Country School. She attended Yale University, majoring in English. She also was an active member of both the St. Elmo and Morse College secret societies. Williams also worked at a Ralph Lauren Outlet Store in New Canaan. She was also a member of the comedy troupe Just Add Water, for four years. She also acted as a character in the YouTube series College Musical. Sam Tsui starred in the film and Kurt Hugo Schneider was its director. Both attended Yale. She graduated in 2010 from Yale with the English degree.
